There are several herds and some individuals that like to hang out up here on Hillcrest. We see some almost everyday as they make their rounds through the neighborhood looking for food. My family and I were kinda shocked when we first moved here to see so many docile deer just about everywhere we went in Durango.
Are they docile? Or are they just used to humans with a tolerance for their closeness.

ReplyDeleteThey are very used to humans. You really have to watch out for them when driving cause they will just walk right out into the road without any concern. By their behavior, you can tell live is pretty easy for them here in Durango
